Choosing a leisure-care product starts with the job in front of you. Dirt from storage, regular washing, a dull finish and a stubborn stain each call for a different part of the Silky range.
Start with the cleaning job
For dirt and grime on PVC, plastic and GRP, Silky Cream Cleaner provides the range’s non-abrasive cream option. For a seasonal wash, including de-wintering, compare Deep Cleaner Ready to Use with Deep Cleaner Concentrate. These are separate formats; use the directions for the container you have.
If the caravan or motorhome finish is already well maintained, Envirowash is the pH-neutral shampoo for routine washing. Its instructions describe pre-rinsing, washing from the top down while keeping the vehicle wet, then rinsing with water.
Treat staining as a separate task
Silky Bright Stain Remover is a specialist oxalic-acid treatment for yellowing and staining on GRP and white plastic. Its uses and precautions differ from a general shampoo. Read the current label and safety information, especially the instruction to avoid contact with non-ferrous metals.
Polish, refine and seal
When the aim is restoring a finish rather than removing dirt, the sequence matters. Restore is the polishing compound for older or previously compounded gelcoat. Fineshine follows Restore to refine previously buffed and compounded plastics and paintwork to a high-gloss finish ready for sealing or waxing.
Superseal is the polymer sealing stage for suitable new or restored plastic and paint finishes, used after buffing with Fineshine. The individual pages explain the application steps and how each product fits into the range.
Finish the details
Dry Pro Plus, described in the current product information as Dry & Shine, serves the final detailing and valeting role for high-gloss finishes. Its guidance identifies paint, glass, gelcoat and chrome and describes working one panel at a time with a fine mist and a microfibre cloth.
For toilet tanks and cassettes, Silky RX has a separate role: helping break down solids and reduce associated odours. Its dosing, temperature and chemical-compatibility instructions should be followed carefully.
