Silky Deep Cleaner Ready to Use
THE PRODUCT

The product

Silky Deep Cleaner Ready to Use is the grime- and film-removing wash in the range for de-wintering and deeper cleaning during the leisure season. It is supplied ready to use.

This page is about the Ready to Use container, not the separate Deep Cleaner Concentrate. Read the directions on the exact container you have; do not transfer any concentrate dilution to this format.

BEST FOR

Best for

Start here when a stored caravan has an even grey film, accumulated dirt or more substantial surface grime that ordinary maintenance washing has not yet addressed.

A post-storage inspection should also note local stains, repaired panels, decals and a finish that looks dull even in clean areas. Those may require separate decisions after the wash.

CHECK FIRST

Check first

Inspect the vehicle and the current pack directions before washing. Identify sensitive or unfamiliar surfaces and follow the caravan manufacturer’s care advice where relevant.

Do not ask a wash to repair failed coatings or restore a finish that stays flat after it is clean. The post-wash inspection decides whether routine care, stain treatment or polishing is the next stage.

1

Inspect the caravan before washing

Walk around the vehicle in daylight and note where the grey film is heaviest. Look separately for localised yellowing, existing scratches, damaged coatings and panels that seem dull beneath the dirt. Check window surrounds, decals, seals and any repaired areas before applying a product.

This creates a useful baseline: Deep Cleaner addresses the film and grime, while a stubborn stain or a weathered finish may require another product after the surface is clean.

2

Follow the Ready to Use wash directions

Use Silky Deep Cleaner Ready to Use according to its current container label. Work in manageable sections, track where the product has been applied, and follow the stated contact, agitation and rinsing guidance. Do not invent a longer dwell time or stronger mixture.

The Ready to Use container is distinct from Deep Cleaner Concentrate. If you have the concentrate, use its own product guidance and label rather than this format’s instructions.

3

Rinse and reassess the clean surface

After completing the pack-directed rinse, inspect the caravan in good light. If the grey film has gone and the finish is sound, routine care can continue with the Envirowash maintenance guide.

If a local yellow stain remains on white GRP, compare the specialist GRP guidance. If older gelcoat is clean but still flat, read the restoration sequence before polishing.

Keep the first wash separate from stain treatment and restoration, and use the right Deep Cleaner format.

Not necessarily. Film is surface contamination; dullness that remains after a thorough clean may be a change in the finish. Wash first, then inspect.

This guide concerns the Ready to Use format. Do not copy dilution directions from the separate concentrate; follow the current instructions on the container in hand.

Cleaning should come first so you can assess the actual finish. A polishing compound is not a substitute for washing away accumulated grime.

Identify the surface and mark. The Bright guide covers persistent yellow staining on white GRP, subject to the current product label and safety guidance.

For a well-maintained finish after the deep clean, Silky Envirowash is the pH-neutral maintenance shampoo in the range. See its separate routine-wash guide.

Start with the wash, then choose the next job

Deep Cleaner Ready to Use gives accumulated seasonal film a dedicated cleaning stage. Follow the current pack, rinse and inspect before deciding whether a stain or dull finish needs separate attention. For broader product comparisons, return to the application guides.
