Silky RX
THE PRODUCT

The product

Silky RX is intended to help reduce solids and associated odours in suitable toilet systems. Its effect and dosing depend on the current pack directions and the operating conditions.

Do not substitute this guide for the current RX label or the cassette maker’s instructions. Never invent a dose, soak time or temperature range.

BEST FOR

Best for

This route addresses material that remains after emptying, not merely an unpleasant smell. Check whether there is retained waste, low water, a blocked outlet or a faulty sliding mechanism.

Our existing toilet-tank guide focuses on odour and can help distinguish the two problems.

CHECK FIRST

Check first

Use gloves and hygienic handling at an approved disposal point. Follow site rules and the cassette manufacturer’s instructions for emptying, flushing and compatible additives.

If the outlet or mechanism is blocked or damaged, seek appropriate maintenance advice. A treatment product should not be presented as a repair or instant obstruction remover.

1

Identify why material remains

After safe emptying, inspect what is visible without dismantling or forcing the cassette. Check the maker’s advice for water level, venting, valve operation and cleaning.

If odour is the main complaint rather than retained solids, read the related odour guide.

2

Follow the RX pack and cassette guidance

Confirm the toilet system accepts the product and use only the current RX container’s dosing and handling directions. Account for water and use conditions exactly as specified on the pack.

Do not combine additives without compatibility guidance. If a blockage or mechanism fault is suspected, address that separately rather than increasing dose.

3

Monitor the next emptying

Use the cassette as directed and check the result at the next appropriate emptying. Note whether solids have reduced, whether emptying is easier and whether any mechanical issue persists.

If the problem continues, consult the cassette maker or a service specialist. The odour guide provides the related but distinct hygiene question.

Separate product use from basic cassette operation and maintenance.

Do not treat it as a mechanical blockage remover. Check the cassette maker’s fault and maintenance advice.

Use the current container label for the exact dose and water conditions; this guide supplies no substitute quantity.

Only if the current product and cassette manufacturers explicitly support compatibility. Do not improvise mixtures.

Not necessarily. This page focuses on solids after emptying; the linked guide focuses on odour.

If the outlet, valve or mechanism does not work as intended, follow the manufacturer’s service advice rather than adding more treatment.

Check the cassette and use the current RX directions

Silky RX is the treatment to assess when solids remain in a suitable caravan toilet cassette, but it does not replace correct emptying or repair. Follow the current pack and cassette maker’s directions, and read the existing odour guide for that separate concern.
